My Mac Palette

After watching countless beauty videos on You Tube, I discovered Mac. I don't own many Mac things yet, but I am a huge fan of their eyeshadows. The colours are highly pigmented, and easy to blend (especially for newbies like me). Mac have an extensive range of colours. They have probably every colour imaginable.
For my birthday, my mother got me a 4 pan palette and two eyeshadows. It was a hard task to choose, and I stood in the store for ages dithering, unsure which shades to get.
In the end I decided to go for Woodwinked and Cranberry. Two colours that many You Tubers rave about. I am very happy with my choices.
More recently I added two more colours to my palette, and now it's full. I purchased Phloof! and Club. I also have Omega, which I use for my brows (recommended by Tanya Burr in her videos)

Woodwinked - it's the perfect all over the lid shade. It also looks nice in the crease and goes with most colours.

Cranberry - I have used Cranberry in so many ways, and I have to say it is my favourite colour. This looks great all over the lid, in the crease, it adds a hint of colour to a brown smokey eye, and it looks amazing paired with a purple smokey eye. If you don't already own this shade, I highly recommend it.

Phloof! - This is my second favourite. It looks great in the inner half of the eye. This colour brightens the eye immediately.

Club - I haven't quite worked out the best way to use this eyeshadow, but it looks so pretty in the pan.. I had to have it! I will be having more of a play with this colour and try some different looks.

Omega - As Tanya Burr said Omega is a great colour for blonde or light eyebrows. The colour is buildable, I can build it up to have a Cara Delveigne brow if I wanted to. This colour is also a great crease colour for a simple no-fuss eye.

I can't wait to continue building my mac collection.

lots of love
