How to Make a Scrapbook

I was feeling super inspired this winter and couldn't help but squeal at the cuteness of people's scrapbook photos on instagram. So whilst browsing through the sale, I purchased two scrapbooks from Paperchase. I wanted to have something that included all my memories, and things I like, out on display, to share with friends and families.

I purchased a one simple brown papered book, and a more fun one, which was covered in fast foods. This one had bright coloured pages (it was on sale and it was too cute to leave behind).

In my scrapbooks I'm going to be putting my photos, and decorating the pages with ribbons and stickers.
Because I don't have enough room to store all magazines that I read, every once in a while I go through old magazines cutting out articles, make up looks and items of clothing I like. I'm currently keeping all clippings in a little file but I think I'm going to stick them into my scrapbook and make a collage. It's nice to be able to view all things that inspire me in one place.

I've bought stickers, ribbons, patterned paper and coloured pens (mostly from T K Maxx) all to decorate the pages. I've stuck everything down with glue, but recently I purchased double sided tape to see if that's better.
I also developed photos from my disposable camera.

I even enlisted the help of my boyfriend and his creative side!!
As a background for my Christmas photos, I cut up wrapping paper. And coloured in the pages in red and green.

I hope you enjoyed this post.
lots of love
