After many disaturous attempts to do something with my skin (resulting in dry patches or allergic reactions) I hopped on over to Clinique, famous for dealing with all skin types, to see what they had to offer.
| This is how everything is stored in my bathroom. Everything is very accessible. |
This is the routine I use morning and night. The only differance is that in the morning I miss out step 1.
STEP 1
So firstly I have to remove my makeup.I use The Body Shop Camomile Waterproof Eye & Lip Make Up Remover to take off my eye make up. This removes make up easily without having to tug (remember to shake it before you pour onto a cotton wool pad).
Then I use the Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Milk to remove the rest of my makeup. I massage this into my skin and wash it off with a wet flannel or muslin cloth. I'm not sure how I feel about this product, it works fine to remove my face make up, but it burns if you get it anywhere near my eyes! Awch.
STEP 2
These are the Clinique 3 Step products that were suggested for me.Firstly I cleanse my skin using the Liquid Facial Soap.
Secondly I exfoliate, using the Clarifying Lotion 1.
Lastly, I moisturise using the dramatically different moistiurizing lotion +
I am currently roadtesting the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo. An anti-blemish Cream that everybody raves about. So far I'm quite happy with this product, I use this along with my other moisturiser. Focusing on the pores on my nose and cheeks.
I think the Clinique products work great with my skin, and I will continue to use them. My skin feels great at the moment, I am loving the results.
Confession time: I am extremely lazy when it comes to skincare so when I'm lying in bed and can't be bothered to make my way into the bathroom... face wipes come to the rescue. I use the Simple Kind to Skin Facial Wipes.
lots of love
