My First YouTube Video

As I've mentioned previously, I've been home for two weeks after travelling Aus and NZ for two months by myself and with tour company Contiki. Please watch this video I made of some of the highlights.

Wonderful Wandering I

As I've mentioned I've just come back from a two month trip in Australia and New Zealand! It was absolutely amazing.
I want to do some in depth posts of what I got up to and where I went. Until then I want to share some of my favourite photos that I took in Australia!

She believed she could, so she did.

In the beginning of September 2014, I booked a trip of a lifetime for 2015. 5 weeks in Australia and 3 weeks in New Zealand. All by myself!
I was told not to do it, and that I was making a mistake, wasting all that money, that I shouldn't go by myself. Because I'm quite shy people didn't think I'd be able to cope or look after myself. I wanted to do this, I knew I needed to do this for myself.

7 months later and I've just arrived home.
I can honestly say that was the craziest, most amazing two months of my entire life! I loved every single second.
That was the best decision I've made and I am so glad I went.

"Travel is the only thing you buy that can make you richer"

Pushing boundries, pushing comfort zones, meeting new people, being opened minded, making friends, experiencing new things - food, culture, a different way of life. Travel makes you realise how different everyone in this world is, and how small you really are!

 

I did things I've wanted to do for so long, and did some things I never thought I'd do. I've seen things I'd only ever dreamed about seeing.

Every day was different and every day was an adventure.

 

I made my family proud, and more than anything, I made myself proud. I feel like I've really achieved and accomplished something.
