The Past 12 Months...

When I sit down and think about the past 12 months I can't quite comprehend exactly what happened.  So much has changed in the space of a year, and boy has it been challenging.
Divorce, moving, heartbreak, exams.

Despite some of the occurances this year still manages to shine through with some unforgettable and amazing memories I'll treasure. I am so grateful for my amazing family and friends.
I want to write about all the positive things that happened to me this year and things I've enjoyed. I did a simular post to this last year so here's the 2014 Edition. I look forward to the exciting things planned for 2015. Onwards and upwards.

January
I re sat one of my AS History Exams, as well as completing my Extended Project (a 5000 word essay). My best friend turned 18 this month.

Feburary
I had a lovely trip to London and saw The Phantom of the Opera for the first time (it was amaze). You can read the post here

March
We went on a lovely trip to Cardiff to see Wicked the Musical in the Bay. I saw it for the thrid time and I love it more and more each time I see it. Read the post here

April
This was like the start of 'prep for exams' time, and I also did my Drama Practical Exam. That was so fun but so stressful!
In our sixthform there's a tradition of having an 'all dayer' - which means you dress up and do a pub crawl. I loved these days and was so sad to have our last one!

May
May was basically a month of revising. Exams are such a stressful time but my word of advice is - work hard, give yourself a break when you need it and simply don't panic! This was my last time in school, such an emotional time after being there for 7 years and loving it. I really do miss sixthform life.
June
June the 2nd my exams started *sigh*, but by the 19th they were all done and dusted and I never have to sit an A Level Exam again. I was glad to see the back of them. Then it was a lot of celebrating(!!!), the day exams finished two of my friends came over and we just chilled  and ordered a take away. The next day one of my friends held a bbq to celebrate. It was such a fun night, one I'll remember forever.
Then the real adventure began with our girls holiday to Zante, Greece. It was such an amazing week. Read about it here

July
We came home from Zante at the beginning of this month, I was completely exhausted! I also went on a trip to London to see Miss Saigon. I wasn't excpecting to enjoy it but it was beautiful musical and so moving.

August
August 2014 was possibly the best month of my life so far. I've done a whole round up post but basically, It was my last school show, I passed my driving test, sixthfrom prom, had my A Level results, and I turned 18. Read my round up of this month here
Or read more about my birthday here

September
September was spent going out far too much (but hey you're only 18 once, right?)
As well as spending lots of time with my friends, and saying goodbye to them as they head off for university.

October
I started working a lot more in October which I actually really really enjoyed!!
I also went to visit some of my friends in University. The most memorable being my London Trip which I wrote about here.
I also bought my FIRST CAR! I'm sure I'll remember this car forever! As ugly as it is haha.

November
November was again a month where I worked an awful lot!! But I still enjoyed spending time with all my friends. Especially my best freind/unbiological sister who turned 21!!

December
CHRIIIISTMAS!!!!!! I love Christmas so I was so excited this month.
My gran turned 80, and I took my friend to Bath christmas Market and I went to see The Lion King Musical.

All the best for 2015

Bath Christmas Market

Despite Christmas having come and gone with a blink of the eye, I still decided to post these photos I found on my camera from a recent trip to Bath Christmas Markets with my best friend.
I've never been to the Christmas Markets before but it was a lovely day out. There was gorgeous bits and bobs on the stalls.

Skincare Shakeup

Way back when I wrote this skincare post. I never took much interest in skincare - mainly because I didn't understand. After watching many You Tube videos, it's still daunting but I feel much more educated. As my Clinique Skincare had run out I needed to make the decision of repurchasing or trying something new. Although I knew the Clinique stuff worked with my sensitive skin. I was eager to try some new stuff. As skincare is expensive it's been put on my Christmas list for Father Christmas!
Until then there's been a skincare shakeup in my cabinet. I don't have full opinions on these products yet as I've only just started using them!

Make Up Remover
The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil -  Amelia Liana raved about this product so I bought it and I love it. A little goes a long way and it seems to last for a very long time. It feels beautiful on the skin for removing make up. (It even takes off eye make up)
The Body Shop Camomile Waterproof Eye & Lip Make Up Remover - For eye make up that's a lot tougher to remove i.e waterproof mascara or a full on smokey eye this stuff is great! This is my second bottle.

Cleanser
REN Hot Cloth Cleanser - This product says it's suitable for all skin types. I had this little 30ml tube free with a magazine so I thought I'd give it a go.

Toner
La Roche Posay Soothing Toner - I haven't decided if this product will be too harsh for my skin. It does say suitable for sensitive skin so we shall see!

The Optional 'Other Step'
Boots Botanics Purifying Face Scrub All Bright - A scrub to use once or twice a week for a little skin pick me up.
Boots Botanics Radiance Concentrate Serum All Bright - I didn't really understand the purpose of a serum but I thought you can't knock something til you've tried it. This claims to brighten skin!

Eye Cream
Boots Botanics Hydrating Eye Cream - This eyecream is perfect for me! It's just a simple light and hydrating eye cream! I've started to realise the importance of eye cream. I find that my under eye concealer sits much better!!

Moisturizer
Clinique dramatically different moisturizer lotion+ - Something's never change. I love this moisturizer. It's so lightweight and doesn't have any bad effect on my skin!

Face Masks
These sanctuary sachet face masks are about £3 and I'm excited to try them out.
Sanctuary Spa 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask
Sanctuary Moisture Boosting Mask
Sanctuary Spa Time Reversal Face Mask

I think skincare is worth the money, time and effort. You only get one skin so it's best to look after it as best as you can. I also feel a lot happier with my skin which has made me much more willing to go out bare faced! Woohoo!!!

Fluffy Fetish

River Island Fluffy Cross Body Bag, £30

You know when you see something in a shop and you just can't bare to leave it? Yup. That's all I have to say. I have no explantion for buying this handbag. Except it's fluffy and coral and I. LOVE. IT.

They've now released more in other shades and I can't decide which to go for! I just love fluffy textured things and I can't help myself!

Makeup Haul

I've been in a makeup slump recently. Nothing I saw in Boots was jumping out at me, and I felt really overwhelmed having to pick a new foundation as there is so so many to choose from. But due to a recent 3 for 2 I decided it was time to get my ass in gear and pick a new foundation... along with some other bits, of course.

Rimmel Match Perfection, Shade 101 £6.99
I have no idea why I picked this one, but I did it on impulse. I've only used it once and I was quite pleased. But I'm sure you'll hear back soon!
L'Oreal Paris Brow Artist Plumper, Blonde £5.99
I saw a good review of this online, saying it was like the Benefit Gimme Brow (approx £17.50) so for the sake of a fiver I knew I had to give this new release a go! I am absolutely obsessed with my brows so I was so excited to try it. I was half excpecting it to make my brows crispy/wet but I was impressed!
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer, 010 Ivory £5.49
I already had this concealer and I love it! I had to pick up another one.
Topshop Blush in Dream Phone £7
Real Techniques Mini Brush Trio £9.99
I bought this set for about £7 on Amazon, even though in stores it's £9.99. These mini brushes are adorable and perfect to pop in my clutch on a night out!

*SIDENOTE* This post was originally called 'mini makeup haul' but after my Debenhams Beauty delivery arrived and I payed a visit to Superdrug it grew substansially! I just can't help myself...

MAC Pro Palette x4, £5.00
Pro Palette Eyeshadow, £10 each
I had an eyeshadow itch to scratch so I picked up 2 more eyeshadows. Patina and Satin Taupe

Mac Lipstick, Lady Danger £15.50
This lipstick has been on my hitlist for almost a year. I took the plunge and bought it and I can't wait to use it! It's so beautiful.

L'oreal Paris Color Riche Mono Eyeshadow £5.49 each
I thought these colours would be beautiful for the Christmas party seaon. I picked up Matte 107, Lumiere 502, Cameleon 601
Collection Gothic Glam Lipstick, Scorned 2 £2.99
I've been on the look out for an uber vampy but I struggled to find one that wasn't red toned. I thought I'd give this lipstick a go as it was so cheap! It's very long lasting and not too drying.
