Autumn Haul

AUTUMN WINTER HAS ARRIVED. Which is an excuse to go shopping...
Here are some of the bits and bobs I've been picking up.

Topshop Crepe Swing Vest, £12

Not paticularly autumn appropriate but an easy to throw on, basic top, that goes with everything. I also picked this up in grey.

Topshop Scallop Crop Vest, £12

The shade of this is very autumnal. Again the fact it's short sleeved isn't always practical but the scallops are a pretty detail.

Floral Printed Flap Backpack, £35

I found a 3 year old backpack from Topshop in my wardrobe the other day and I now hate the pattern but can't deny its a very practical bag type. So I thought I'd buy myself an updatted one. I love the dark floral pattern on this one.

Jack Wills Exbridge Legging, £29.50

I love pyjamas, paticularly Jack Wills' ones. These ones are super cute and SUPER comfy.

H&M Scarf, £7.99

I love the camel shade of this scarf, at a bargain price.

River Island Nude Faux-Leather Skirt, £25

This was one of those impulse buys that ended good. I've already had lots of wear out of this.

H&M Faux Leather Trousers, £24.99

I can't find the link for these. But I bought a pair last year and they have a soft lining inside which makes them beyond comfy to wear.

Although I'm trying not to spend too much money because I'm saving up for my trip and honestly I have so many clothes I don't truly need anymore(!!)

A/W Drugstore Lip Picks

It's that time of year again when we put the Orange and Coral lipsticks away in the draws and pull out the deep reds and burgundies.

Here are some of my go-to drugstore lipsticks. My favourites are Rimmel Kate 107 (a Zoella favourite) and 08 a darker nude.

Kate for Rimmel in 03 - this is a basic nude.
Kate for Rimmel in 08 - this is a darker nude.
Rimmel Apocalips in Galaxy 301 - this a lip laquer, it's still quite low key and not too in your face if a bold lip isn't your style.
Bourjouis Color Boost in Plum Russian 06 - this is a glossy hybrid between a lipgloss and a lipstick, although the staying power isn't too great. It's easy to reapply.
Kate for Rimmel in 107 - This is a personal favourite, dark and vampy! It's matte so stays put.

Style Secret | The Topshop Strappy Seam Bralet

Before I went on holiday this summer, I made a last minute stop at Topshop to have a nose for any last minute holiday buys. I picked up some crop tops thinking they would come in handy to throw on. Turns out they're probably the best £8 I've spent.

I picked the same crop top up in grey, black and white. Three basic colours that go with everything!! They're perfect to throw under a top for going out. I have used and used these.

A Spa Day

As an exam/results gift my mother bought me a voucher for me and a friend to have a day at the spa! It's something I've always wanted to do and I thouroughly enjoyed the day. It entitled us to using the gym facilities, the sauna and jacuzzi, a two course meal, and a massage.

 It was a calming day, I would recommend a spa voucher as a great gift!

Review | The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Solid Oil Lipbalm

There haven't been many beauty posts on my blog recently. Life has sort of taken over recently. I've been busy, simply, enjoying myself.
Planning my Gap Year, working, visiting friends... 

So as the winter months approach here's an insight into what I'll be using on my dry lips!

It's light, nourishing and soothing on the lips. Perfect to moisture those lips after a long day of wearing lipstick. If you can look past the fact you have to apply it with your finger, it comes in a sturdy little tin. All in all, great product. I look forward to trying the rest of the collection.
