"When making your choice in life, do not neglect to live"

Three and a half years ago my Auntie passed away. The whole family was in shock as it was very sudden and unexcpected. Whilst grieving, my Uncle found comfort in going out for long walks. It was an escapism. The peacfulness of the forest gave him alone time, to think and to reminisce.
My Uncle was totally heartbroken. It just proved that life truly is too short. And every day should be lived like it's your last.
One day I went along. I found that I really enjoyed walking, interacting with nature, seeing it's beauty and not just taking it for granted. Being out of the house was refreshing. I started to appreciate oppurtunities and dream about what I wanted to achieve.

I had a taste for adventure. I realised I wanted to excperiance the world in all it's glory. When you step back to think about it... it's truly remarkable really. There's so many places in this world, all are individual and unique. All should be celebrated. I want to travel the world. I want to help others. I've wanted to help others since I was a child, I used to dream that my job would be going around the world helping anyone who needed it

Review | Colour Crush Eyeshadow

Ever since I've been a little girl I have been utterly obsessed with the Body Shop! Last year I was completely infatuated with their Colour Crush Eyeshadow's which cost £7.00. There is a huge selection of colours, I've picked up 7 so far.

Top Row (from left to right): Grape Expectations, Blackcurrant Affair, Blue Over You, Moonlight Kiss
Bottom Row: Berry Cute, Sweet Pea, Fig Leaf

As you can see from the photo above the pigmentation is amazing. All the colours are so gorgeous and I think they're really good value for money!! Also the names are the most adorable names ever! I like that the packaging is see-through because it's easy to identify the colours.
I would highly recommend these eyeshadows.

A Beach Stroll

I live right by the sea and I still have a beautiful countryside around me. I don't think I appreciate enough where I live. It's simply stunning. Enjoy some photos from a stroll down the beach;

Perfume History

So I was looking through old boxes, and found bottles of old perfume. For some reason I like to hoard perfume bottles. I get so sad when I get to the end of a perfume bottle, that I keep the bottle with the tiniest squirt of perfume left in side. Just to reminisce.

So here is my Perfume History

From top to Bottom; Armani Code, Lady Gaga Fame, CK One Shock, Ralph Lauren 2, Gucci by Gucci, Taylor Swifr Wonderstruck, Marc Jacobs Dot

When ever I smell old perfumes memories and emotions from the time I wore it come flooding back. Does anyone else find that? Or am I just really weird haha.
I hope you find this intresting

Return of the Mac

Whilst browsing through the Jack Wills website I saw the Feldon Mac and I fell in love! You can go have a look yourself here. It retails at £59.50, which is quite pricey (I am a firm beliver that Jack Wills is ridiculously overpriced). Mine is in the shade Sunshine, which is more of a mustard yellow but I love the colour! (The photos do not do it justice)

I think this is the perfect mac for the transition to Spring/Summer. The colour is great because it's not TOO bright and it's not TOO wintery. It's really light and you can fold it up really small so that it fits in you bag! I love it and it's worth the money! I haven't had it for very long and I've already worn it multiple times!

Review | Tangle Teezer

My hair is just ridiculous, I only have to look out the window at the wind and my hair ends up in knots, clumps and tangles. Brushing my hair is always a chore, it's like 10 minutes of torture for my scalp. Seconds later and there's already another knot. After hearing everyone rave about the Tangle Teezer, I thought it might be the answer to my prayers.
The Tangle Teezer is £10.99 from Boots, but after searching the internet I saw it much cheaper on certin websites for only £8. I picked the orange one because that's my favourite colour.

Although this brush is great to travel with because it's so small and it fits perfectly in your palm, I did not think this was the best at getting the tangles out of my hair.
I felt that the bristles were so short and bendy that it just brushed over the tangles rather than brushing through them and getting rid of them. I have really thin hair so I wouldn't imagine it would be good for someone with thick tangled hair. I didn't think this was worth the money at all.

Look of the Day

It's only March, and I'm itching to wear my Spring attire. Pastels and textured clothing are calling me, wanting to be worn.

Cardi - H&M
Crop Top - H&M
Jeans - Asos
Heeled Boots - Dorothy Perkins
Headband - River Island

Hair - I did a half up half down do'. I curled the bottom, and put the top into a bun and used this little flower headband which matched my boots!
Make Up - I used my everyday products which you can read about HERE but I used MAC Cranberry Eyeshadow and MUA Eyeshadow in Shade 16
The only way I can describe how amazing this jacket/cardi feels, is to compare it with a little fluffy cloud, oh my goodness. It's amazing!! I just want to stroke my face in it constantly.
Hope you like this look.
